DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN AND INCREASING THE NUMBER OF FOREIGN TOURISTS
Abstract
Since gaining independence, Uzbekistan has recognized the vital role of tourism in its economic development. The government has elevated tourism services to the level of state policy, emphasizing its significance as a modern service sector. By establishing organizational and legal mechanisms designed to bolster this industry, Uzbekistan aims to showcase its rich heritage and diverse culture while attracting a steady flow of foreign visitors. This renewed focus on tourism is not just about economic growth; it is also a commitment to preserve and promote unique cultural assets and landscapes.
