Abstract

Abstract: Gamification has become an innovative approach in modern education, particularly in teaching foreign languages such as English. It involves the use of game elements like points, rewards, competition, and interactive tasks in non-game learning environments. This article explores the concept of gamification, its theoretical foundations, and its effectiveness in English language teaching. The study highlights how gamification improves students’ motivation, engagement, and language skills, especially in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Furthermore, practical examples and digital tools are discussed to demonstrate the application of gamification in real classroom settings.
